MIA is exploring the possibility of offering a Driver’s Education program during the 2026–27 school year in partnership with Ann Arbor Driving School.
The proposed program would include 24 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving experience. Classes may be offered during the school day or after school, depending on student interest and scheduling needs.
School officials are working to provide affordable, competitive pricing, particularly if enrollment is strong. A minimum of 10 students is required for the program to run.
Students and families interested in participating are encouraged to complete the Driver’s Education Interest Survey to help MIA plan for the upcoming school year.
