Organizations & Activities: PTO

Welcome To MIA PTO!
The MIA PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a group of MIA parents and guardians who have volunteered for specific tasks, that directly support the school. . Participating in the PTO is a great way to be a part of the MIA community by getting to know teachers, classmates and families.

Our Goal  is to support the teachers, school staff and administrators to enhance our kids overall educational and social development.

To Achieve Our Goal, We would like to invite all MIA parents and staff to be active part of PTO by volunteering and helping with various activities and fundraisers. You can support the PTO in many ways -by offering time, donation or suggestions.

In 2008-2009 PTO helped the School in organizing:
Hajj Program, Quran Competition, Math Counts, Science League,
Coffee with the Principal, Soccer, ACT Classes, Box Tops Collection,
Reading and Math Night, Talent Show, Annual Dinner, AAA Safety Patrollers,
Scholastic Book Fair, Health & Fitness Week View Schedule,
Career Day for High School, Teacher Appreciation Week, Courtyard Garden Project,
Volunteer Appreciation Brunch, Enrichment Programs like Arts & Archery Clubs.

For 2009-2010 school year, Inshallah we hope to organize the same activities with some additional activities like Sports Teams, Spelling Bee, Movie & Game Night, Cultural Day & Art Fair.

We are open to suggestions and hope to work together as MIA Parents and Teachers Support Group. We look forward to another great year and to work with all of you, Inshallah.
