Membership based on grade point average and NHS criteria.
The NHS is planned a program at the University of Michigan entitled Standing Strong: Modesty in the Spotlight. They invited students from other middle and high schools to join the program.
The NHS raised the money and made the arrangements to sponsor an orphan.
Personal care items were collected and given to the women’s shelter. The NHS will collect from middle and elementary students next.
The NHS won two awards from the Red Cross. One for being the Measeles Advocate of the Month; saving 230 lives. The second award was for raising money for Disaster Relief in Haiti.
