Guidance

  High School Academic Advisory serves several functions and purposes in our school such as:

  -Building and maintaining relationships and open dialogue between the advisor, students, staff
   and parents

 - High school course planning/analysis of graduation requirements

 - Educate students about national standardized , preparatory and state tests e.g. ACT & SAT,
   Explore, Plan, MEAP  and the MME

 - Assist students in developing their high school resume

 - Reinforcement of effective study skills and habits

 - Developing positive social skills

 - Monitoring student records and academic progress

 - Providing service learning opportunities

 - Developing goals and planning for post secondary life
